Shortcut Reasoning® I - Tricks and Games
To Get A+ in Mathematics and To Enjoy It We provide innovative mathematics tutoring to students in all levels – preschool, elementary, high school, college and university. Our unique innovative Shortcut Reasoning® method helps students: Ø Learn math without any difficulty Ø Understand math rather than memorize it Ø Achieve A+ in math and sustain such grades Ø Analyze problems from a higher level Ø Be a critical thinker and a smart person Ø Make logic their natural way of thinking Ø Apply math skills in their life time study, work, investment and more With more than 25 years experience in math tutoring, innovative Shortcut Reasoning® method, small class study (6 students or less), close communications with parents, excellent quality control and PRICE approach (Praise, Relax, Incentive, Care and Encouragement); Fox Mathematics is the best place to learn math. As specialists in math tutoring, we believe every kid can be trained to have a mathematical mind by following our unique program – Shortcut Reasoning®. When students have problems in mathematics, the main cause of their problem is the failure in understanding the logic behind. Unfortunately, most textbooks and teachers will only show one approach to students for them to understand the concept. If students cannot follow that approach, they will not be able to follow and problems will accumulate. Over time, students will be afraid to learn mathematics, not to mention understanding and applying them. We provide special mathematics programs for kindergarten to grade 12, college and university students to learn mathematics in different ways. We use different ways of approaches and different kinds of exercises to make an easier learning path for students. By participating in our class and doing our methods every week, students will understand the important concepts of the mathematics and be able to solve the problems in school as well as in real life. For just going to our mathematics centre for an hour a week, students can improve their performance in school and have a better understanding of the concept so that they can apply what they learnt to the real life. We are committed to provide a vivid, practical and easy way for students to learn their mathematics, and to deliver mathematical knowledge to the university level and beyond. Our exercises are clearly worded and students will only be tested on their mathematics skills without any unnecessary language challenge, hence save time in learning. We are a group of teachers committing to provide superior mathematics education in a practical and funny way. Mathematics is our specialty: All of our teachers are experienced tutors with university degrees that are specialized in mathematics or related subjects. All of them have at least four years studies in Calculus, Algebra and Geometry. We have the experience in teaching students in all levels, from kindergarten arithmetic to university set theory, calculus and algebra. Through the years, we have been trained to listen, to observe and to customize our approach to individual students needs. Now we are able to provide knowledge and share our experience to our students to enhance their mathematics skills, resources, and creativity that they already have. All in all, Fox Mathematics is an organization emphasizes on interesting exercise and practical knowledge, designed for a dynamic world and for those students who wish to improve their mathematics skills and knowledge through effective exercises and vivid activities.
We named our organization after Terry Fox (1958 –
1981). He was one of the Canada's greatest heroes. A humanitarian,
athlete, and cancer treatment activist, Terry Fox dedicated his life to
run across Canada to raise money for cancer research after he was
diagnosed with osteogenic sarcoma (bone cancer) and forced to have his
right leg amputated 15 centimetres (six inches) above the knee.
He is celebrated internationally every September as
people participate in the Terry Fox Run, the world's largest one-day
fundraiser for cancer research.
On the other hand, fox is sensible, cautious and
level-headed. It is far less pugnacious than many other carnivorous
mammals: fox does not look for trouble; it does not pick a fight; if
faced with a challenge, fox will calmly walk around it if at all
possible. If a fight cannot be avoided (e.g. there are cubs to be
protected) then fox will do whatever is necessary, and do it bravely. We
try to teach our students to have a fox-like personality, that is, to be
well-adjusted.
The mission of Fox Mathematics is to provide a vivid,
practical and easy way for students to learn their mathematics. Our
exercises are clearly worded and students will only be tested on their
mathematics skills without any unnecessary language challenge. Useful Links
