As specialists in mathematics, we believe every kid can be trained to have a mathematical mind by following our unique program – Shortcut Reasoning®. When students have problems in mathematics, the main cause of their problem is the failure of understanding the logic behind. Unfortunately, most textbooks and teachers will only teach one approach to students. If students cannot follow that approach, they will not be able to follow and problems will accumulate. Over time, students will be afraid to learn mathematics, let alone understand and apply them.
We provide special mathematics programs for kindergarten to grade 12, college and university students to learn mathematics in different ways. We use different approaches and various kinds of exercises to create an easier learning path for students. By participating in our class and doing our methods every week, students will understand the important concepts in mathematics and be able to solve the problems in school as well as in real life.
By just enjoying our mathematics program for an hour a week, students can improve their performance in school and have a better understanding of the concepts so that they can apply what they learn to real life.
We are committed to providing a vivid, practical and easy way for students to learn mathematics, and to deliver mathematical knowledge to the university level and beyond. Our exercises are clearly worded and students will only be tested on their mathematics skills without any unnecessary language challenges, hence saving time in learning.
We are a group of teachers pledged to providing superior mathematics education in a practical and funny way. Mathematics is our specialty: All of our teachers are experienced teachers with university degrees that are specialized in mathematics or related subjects. All of them have at least four years studies in Calculus, Algebra and Geometry. We are experienced in teaching students of all levels, from kindergarten arithmetic to university set theory, calculus and algebra.
Through the years, we have been trained to listen, to observe and to customize our approach to individual students needs. Now we are able to provide knowledge and share our experience with our students to enhance the mathematics skills, resources, and creativity that they already have.
All in all, Fox Mathematics is an organization emphasizes the importance of interesting exercises and practical knowledge. Our programs are designed for a dynamic world and for those students who wish to improve their mathematics skills and knowledge through effective exercises and vivid activities.
We named our organization after Terry Fox (1958 –
1981). He was one of the Canada's greatest heroes. A humanitarian,
athlete, and cancer treatment activist, Terry Fox dedicated his life to
run across Canada to raise money for cancer research after he was
diagnosed with osteogenic sarcoma (bone cancer) and was forced to have his
right leg amputated 15 centimetres (six inches) above the knee.
He is celebrated internationally every September as
people participate in the Terry Fox Run, the world's largest one-day
fundraiser for cancer research.
In addition, our logo is a fox; this sensible,
cautious and level-headed animal is a perfect representation of what we
aspire to create. It is far less pugnacious than many other carnivorous
mammals: a fox does not look for trouble; it does not pick a fight; if
faced with a challenge, a fox will calmly avoid it if possible. If a fight cannot be avoided (e.g. there are cubs to be
protected) then a fox will do whatever is necessary, and do it bravely. We
